Candidate Bio
I am running for the Park District Board because:
As the former president of La Grange Little League, I worked closely with the Park District staff and I would be honored to serve as a commissioner. I believe my Little League leadership experience will add a voice for the user groups to work with the staff to help review the needs of the parks and facilities so that the Park District can continue its exemplary parks and recreation programming. I believe there are many things that can be done with little to no expenditure to continue the current progress by getting volunteers from the community and affiliate organizations to partner with the Park District to help beautify the parks and facilities.
