I am running for the Library Board because:
As a reference librarian, I see the tremendous value that public libraries provide on a daily basis. Here in La Grange, our attractive and modern public library is one of the key ingredients in our Village’s recipe for a desirable community. Our library offers something for everyone: books and digital media, classes and speakers, story times, meeting spaces, a wealth of online resources, and more. In addition, the library serves an important role as one of our fundamental civic spaces. As public libraries continue to evolve and adapt, I would be honored to put my professional experience to use as part of the board guiding the future of La Grange Public Library.
