Candidate Bio
I am running for Village Trustee because:
As a current Village Trustee, I enjoy giving back to this community that I'm blessed to call home and I want to continue our great work by serving as a Village Trustee again. La Grange should continue to be a village lauded for its vitality and value. I believe I have contributed to that spirit and effort in my 19 years on the Zoning Board of Appeals, Plan Commission and Village Board, and will continue to be dedicated to keeping La Grange as a wonderful place to live, raise a family, and grow old.
Community Service:
Zoning Board of Appeals, 1998-2007; Plan Commission, 2007-2009; Village 2009-present; La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation, 2006-present (Board of Directors since 2011 and past Chairman); Midwest Health Board of Directors, 2016-present; School District 105 Foundation, 2013-present (Chairman of Scholarship Committee); co-Chair Citizens for Quality Neighborhood Schools (District 105), 2006; Volunteer parenting instructor for The Pillars - 3 classes.
Professional Experience:
Extensive experience in finance, securities markets, information technology, healthcare, strategic planning, project and process management; former teacher and consultant; former professional athlete with two world championships (can you guess in what?)
La Grange Resident:
26 years, married with two children and a Golden Retriever. Avid golfer, tennis player and skier.
