Candidate Bio
I am running for Village Trustee because:
As a La Grange native who is also a descendent of F.D. Cossitt, I’ve always felt called to serve. My knowledge of Village history is vast. As we approach challenges to our businesses, the years I spent observing the process fostering the downtown turnaround in the 80/90s are uniquely valuable. We must continue to fortify our Village strengths and keep it a place where people desire to live. I spent six years on the Citizens’ Council of La Grange (CCLG), two as Chairman. I have also served on the Environmental Quality Commission and now work on the Community Economic Development Commission. I live in LaGrange with my husband and son.
